We are extremely delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) (工業技術研究院, 工研院) and 10X Innovation Lab. Our partnership with ITRI enables us to continue to support Taiwanese startups looking to expand their business to new markets, especially Silicon Valley.

We are confident that this partnership will further strengthen our collaboration with Taiwan and give Taiwanese startups a structured expansion platform that will yield new global success stories. ITRI and Taiwan Tech Arena's delegation ranks as the third-largest participating country in Eureka Park this year and has won 13 Innovation Awards at CES 2020!

Our partnership will mean better help for Taiwanese startups in:

  • Assessing their business model and market readiness

  • Refining their value proposition and MVP

  • Gaining unique industry insights and understanding regulation challenges

  • Matching them with potential customers and partners for customer discovery and feedback, vital to their product development process

  • Opening them up to our investor network for potential investments

When you see the results from CES, it’s clear that the Taiwanese market is poised with potential. Taiwanese startups earned more than US$226 million in business opportunities and signed deals with massive corporations including Coca Cola, Amazon, Apple, and many more.

Not only did the startup teams bring home 13 Innovation Awards, but they also created many business opportunities including the following:

  • FaceHeart was invited by SONY to collaborate on developing new products in healthcare.

  • Yallven will take its vending machines to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan.

  • YoKai Express's Ramen machines were purchased by San Francisco International Airport.

It is our great pleasure to continue our collaboration with ITRI and Taiwan Tech Arena.  By enhancing connections between Taiwanese startups and Silicon Valley to create fast-growing ecosystems, we can make Taiwanese startups one of the globe’s most sought after entrepreneurs.

If you are a government agency and are trying to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem through training promising startups in your home market, please reach out to us to find out how we can support you in your transformation efforts.
